We represent all of the approximately 6,000 students at the TUM School of Management – Bachelor and Master in Management & Technology, Master in Management (MiM) and Master in Consumer Science (MCS) at the Technical University of Munich.

Our Departments – How we are organized

We are divided into five departments, each with its own focus. Together, we work towards making your study experience great!

Whether Party or the Cocktail Booth and Mulled Wine Booth – you socialize, we organize! We host Semester Opening Parties, Midterm Parties, Graduation Parties and more.

We represent your interests in various councils in front of the faculty, professors, and the entire university. We work on improving teaching, degree programs and more.

We maintain the website, our social media presence, and the TUM SOM Jobboard. We also organize career events like the Company Crawl and connect students with employers.

Whether you're in your Bachelor's or Master's, we are always available to answer your questions. We organize the Fresher Week, information sessions and much more.

The council speakers coordinate all departments, represent the student council externally and organize our bi-weekly meetings and semester retreats.

The TUM-BWL e.V. was founded in 2002 and is a non-profit association with the task of representing and supporting the activities of the TUM SOM Student Council.

Got questions about the Student Council or your studies at TUM School of Management? Here are the most common ones.
 
How can I join the Student Council?
Fill out our online application form, then go through a four-month Trainee phase attending General Student Council meetings and department meetings. After completing the training, you officially become an Active Member and receive a certificate of recognition. Contact us at fss@tum-som.com.
Which study programs does the Student Council represent?
We represent all ~6,000 students of the TUM School of Management: B.Sc. in Management & Technology, Master in Management & Technology (MMT), Master in Management (MiM), and Master in Consumer Science (MCS).
Where can I find internships and thesis positions?
Check out our TUM SOM Jobboard at tum-som.com/jobboard where we regularly publish internships, working student positions, project studies and thesis opportunities – all completely free of charge.
